STRATEGIC PLAN 2025 - 2029
At the Western Wildlife Conservancies Association, our newly launched 2025-2029 Strategic Plan is more than a roadmap—it’s a catalyst for change that will elevate our organization and the communities we serve. A well-defined strategic plan is essential for aligning our vision, strengthening governance, and driving meaningful action in conservation.
WWCA CODE OF CONDUCT
This Code of conduct have been developed through a Conservancy members consultative process and has been approved by the Governing Committee as a guide for implementing WWCA Constitution and defining how Conservancy members and the Association shall transact its business. Pursuant to Section 19.7 of WWCA Constitution this Code of conduct constitutes internal regulations internal regulations to give effect to the constitution and provide guidelines for additional information implementation of provisions of the Constitution
RISK MANAGEMENT POLICY
Western Wildlife Conservancies Association ( WWCA) recognises that the organisation is exposed to certain risks due to the nature of its activities and the environment in which it operates. Risks arise due to the organisation’s operational undertakings and from external sources. Risks occur in numerous ways and have the potential to impact financial performance, reputation, health and safety, community and the overall performance of the organisation. WWCA commits itself to manage and mitigate risks (threats and opportunities) in its operations and programsas part of its organisational culture, under a dynamic risk management framework.
WWCA - PSEA POLICY
As the regional representative body and voice for 64 conservancies and with majority of them being our members, much is expected from its communication. WWCA is the central hub for information gathering and sharing on conservancies. Because of this, we hold the unique position to connect national and international actors to local-level conservancies and vice versa.
WWCA ANTI-CORRUPTION AND ANTI-FRAUD POLICY
WWCA seeks to take a leading role in management of corruption and fraud by developing a policy framework to guide and direct the dealings of the organization, both internally and externally. This policy is anchored by WWCA mission, vision and values and is in tandem with the expectations and baselines set by the statutes of the Government of Kenya in the management of corruption and fraud in the society.
