The Western Wildlife Conservancies Association (WWCA) is honored to participate in the Kenya Wildlife Conservancies Association (KWCA) Annual General Meeting and National Conservancy Leaders Policy Conference 2026, taking place at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), Nairobi, under the theme “Rangelands Restoration for People and Nature.”
This important gathering brings together conservancy leaders, policymakers, government agencies, development partners, and conservation practitioners from across Kenya to discuss critical policy developments, governance, sustainable financing, ecosystem restoration, and the future of community conservancies.
As WWCA, we look forward to:
Contributing to discussions on ecosystem-based natural resource management and conservation policy reforms.
Sharing experiences and lessons from community-led conservation initiatives across Western Kenya.
Strengthening partnerships that support biodiversity conservation, sustainable livelihoods, and climate resilience.
Learning from fellow conservancies and stakeholders as we collectively shape a sustainable future for people and nature.
We commend KWCA for convening this timely forum that continues to strengthen the voice and impact of conservancies in Kenya.
Together, we are building resilient landscapes, empowered communities, and a thriving future for conservation.
